Cherry Creek Arts Festival
WHEN: July 1-3, 2017
WHERE: Cherry Creek North, from 2nd to 3rd Avenues, on the seven streets between Columbine and Steele Sts.
This free, outdoor extravaganza — the city’s signature cultural celebration of the visual, performing and culinary arts — gives more than 350,000 annual visitors the chance to meet and talk with international visual artists, enjoy a wide range of family-friendly fun and sample fine cuisine. At the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, experience Artivity Avenue, a full block of interactive activities perfect for youngsters. Visit the Cultural Pavilion, where music, dance and theater from around the globe will be presented. Culinary Avenue features tasty treats and live cooking demonstrations from some of Denver’s most popular eateries.
Old Fashioned July 4 Celebration
Saturday, July 1 at 5pm to 11pm
Four Mile Historic Park
You only turn 241 once. Come celebrate the nation’s birthday with live music, old-fashioned games, historic demonstrations, and horse-drawn wagon rides. Bring a blanket and stick around for the Glendale fireworks show! Admission is Free! Food trucks will be on site, along with a beer garden (valid ID required).
Independence Eve
Monday, July 3 at 8pm to 12am
Downtown Denver’s Civic Center
Join in for the eight-annual free community celebration! Beginning at 8 PM at Downtown Denver’s Civic Center will feature concerts, light shows, and a fireworks finale. Lawn seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis- be sure to pack blankets or lawn chairs! Feel free to pack a picnic and enjoy the show or select from a variety of food trucks on site. The concert will feature performances by Soul X and the 101st Army Band of the Colorado National Guard. Northglenn July 4th Festival
Tuesday, July 4 at 7am to 10pm
EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park
Celebrate America’s birthday starting off with a Pancake breakfast hosted by Boy Scout Troop 98. Followed by a 4-mile run, bake sale, car show, parades, beer garden, concerts, and more! Some call the event Denver’s largest family picnic as families and friends bring out their blankets and picnic baskets to get a great seat for the annual fireworks program.
